About Reservations
Can I ask about the start date of my reservation and availability?

We do not reply to inquiries about availability or reservation start dates.
Due to the large volume of emails we receive, we are unable to reply to each and every one.

Please check the next question for reservation start dates, etc.

When do reservations open?

We open our calendar for the month of the start of each month’s booking.
We open the calendar around the beginning of the month three months in advance.
The exact date we open the calendar is not fixed and may be slightly ahead or behind.
We cannot give you advance notice of the day we will open the calendar, as it depends on the situation.

Are there any days when the hotel is closed?

We are a small, family-run inn.
Therefore, we are closed one or two days a week.
Holidays are generally weekdays.
Holidays are determined when we open our reservation calendar.

Can I make reservations by phone or e-mail?

No, sorry. We only accept the reservation via online.

Do you accept credeit card payments?

For online reservations, credit card payment is accepted at the time of booking.

Credit cards are not accepted for payment on site.

Please pay in cash on site.

How can I cancel my reservation?

Please cancel by yourself from the site where you made your reservation.
We do not accept cancellations by phone.

Cancellation charges may apply depending on the number of days prior to your stay. Please understand this in advance.

Our cancellation policy is as follows
90 days to 16 days prior to arrival: 30% of the room charge
15 days to 3 days prior to arrival: 50% of the room charge
2 days before or the day before: 70% of the room charge
Cancellation on the day or no-show: 100% of the room charge

Are there any cases where cancellation fees are waived?

Cancellation fees will be waived for cancellations made after the announcement of a cancellation fee waiver for flights to/from nearby Yamagata Airport or Yamagata Shinkansen due to natural disasters such as typhoons, heavy snowfall, or earthquakes.

Cancellations for reasons other than those mentioned above, which are not the responsibility of the hotel, will not be exempted from the cancellation fee waiver.

Check-in and check-out
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in starts at 15:00 and check-out is by 10:00.

The last check-in time is 18:00.
Dinner will not be served after 18:00.

What amenities (room furnishings) are available?

Yukata(Japanese bathrobe), bath towel, hand towel, slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, TV (only Japanese channels), telephone, safety box, kettle, refrigerator (drinks available, charged), razor blade (front desk), hair dryer (rental at front desk, also available in changing rooms) There is also a hair dryer in the changing room.

Washlet toilets are provided in the public toilets on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors (not in each room).

Are there wheelchair accessible rooms? And what facilities are available for the handicapped?

Sorry, we do not have wheelchair-accessible rooms. We do not have wheelchair-accessible rooms. The hotel is not fully barrier-free.

Can I stay with my pet?

We are sorry. We do not allow pets.

Can I stay for multiple nights?

We are sorry. We do not allow consecutive nights.

If you have made separate reservations, we ask that you cancel one of the dates if they are consecutive.

Are non-smoking rooms available? Is there a smoking area?

Smoking is prohibited in the entire building. Please refrain from smoking in the building.

Smoking is allowed in front of the entrance (outside).

Can one person stay at the hotel?

Sorry, we do not accept single occupancy.

Are beds or folding cots available?

Sorry, no beds or folding cots available. We do not have beds or folding cots.
Bedding will be Japanese-style futon.

About meals
What time is dinner served?

Dinner will be prepared between 18:00 and 18:30.
The time cannot be changed.

Please note that dinner may not be served if check-in is after 18:00.

Where are meals served? Can I eat in my guest room (room meal) or in a private room?

<Dinner> will be as follows.
In case of 2 guests, it will be a room meal.
For 3 or more guests, it will be a dining room.
For groups and organizations, a banquet room is available.

<Breakfast> is served in the hall.

Is breakfast Japanese style? What time is it served?

Japanese set breakfast is served from 7:30.

Please ask at the front desk upon arrival about the breakfast time for early departures.

Can you accommodate allergies?

We apologize for the inconvenience. The hotel does not provide allergy services.

Can I change the food ingredients?

We apologize for the inconvenience. We are unable to accommodate ingredient changes.

Regarding access and transportation
Is there a shuttle service to and from the station?

Yes, pick-up is available at Oshida station.

Pick-up will be twice at Oshida station at 13:40 and 15:45.

Pick-up will leave our hotel once at 9:50 (9:45 in winter).

*If you wish to be picked up, please write “I wish to be picked up at 13:40 Oishida Station” etc. in the correspondence column or remarks column when making a reservation.

About parking lot
Is there a parking lot?

Yes, we have free parking. There are plenty of spaces available.

I don’t speak Japanese, is that OK?

Our staff can only speak Japanese, but if that is okay with you, we will be happy to assist you.

Other questions
Is there a convenience store nearby?

There are no convenience stores or grocery stores nearby. The nearest convenience store is a 30-minute drive away.

Can I reserve the bath for private?

We are sorry. We do not have a private bath.

What room is on the river side?

The river-side rooms are Rooms 301, 302, 402, and 502.

However, even though the rooms are on the river side, you cannot see the Onse street from the balcony because there is a concrete wall a little over 1 meter high.

Even if you go out on the balcony, you will not have a good view of the Onsen street because our hotel is located at the corner of the central part of the “U-shaped curved the street.
